Baralaba Coal

(TLO & CHP)

Thorburn Australia has been assisting Baralaba Coal since 2021 at their Train Load Out Facility and lately at their new Coal Processing Plant, where we provided the turnkey Electrical, Instrument and Control design. The new plant consisted of several conveyors, screening and rotary stacker.

One of the key features was to make the plant as automated as possible to reduce Operator requirements which was achieved with a virtually unmanned control room.

The project engineering cost was $600K and provided all electrical design, generator supply, HA classification, PLC programming, SCADA development, SQL integration, commissioning and handover.
